Introducing Laundry Shield, a laundry additive that sanitizes, softens and deodorizes all fabrics for up to 60 days after washing. Maintain a viral/bacterial shield on gowns, patient bedding, towels and miscellaneous fabrics with one wash cycle. Laundry Shield kills 99.9% of harmful germs and Viruses (including the SARS-Covid surrogate viruses) for up to 60 days. Laundry Shield is available in gallon jugs.
This innovative technology also kills bacteria, including C. Difficile, molds and mildews. Effective against a wide variety of viruses, bacteria and fungus including: CORONA VIRUS, MRSA, VRE, C.DIFF, INFLUENZA, HIV, H1N1, STAPH, STREP THROAT, ENTEROVIRUS 7971. All this protection is done without using alcohol, bleach or chlorine, helping to prevent skin irritations.
The active ingredient forms a colorless, odorless, positively charged polymer that chemically bonds to the treated surface. Think of it as a layer of electrically charged swords. When a microorganism comes in contact with the treated surface, the quaternary amine sword punctures a cell membrane and the electrical charge “shocks” the cell. Since nothing is transferred to the now dead cell, the antimicrobial doesn’t lose strength and the “sword” is ready for the next cell to come in contact.
The 60 day protection comes is a ready mixed solution to be added into the wash cycle, no dilution required. Protection is effective for at least further 15 washes without using Laundry Shield.
